Costa Rica Center: Advancing Mental Health and Addiction Research and Education

In the realm of addiction research and education, The PIR Center of Excellence is looking to make significant strides. PIR aims to provide a platform for advancing neurological research and education in innovative ways.

The non-profit leading the way in this initiative, Promises Recovery, Inc., was established by an 18-year firefighter and his wife who have experienced firsthand the devastating impact of addiction. Their personal journey, including the loss of their daughter to the opioid crisis and the suicides of their fellow firefighters, inspired them to create a space for healing and transformation.

With donations and support from all of you, the PIR Centre of Excellence is dedicated to making innovative therapies more accessible and affordable for those in need. By offering cutting-edge treatments and programs, the center aims to revolutionize the way addiction and mental health issues are approached.
